Make sure the pressure is correct on the boiler gauge. It should read about 1.0 to 1.5 bar when cold. Repressurise with the filling loop. It may just be that the CH controls aren't set right. Start with the CH control which should be on the face of the boiler case. It is often shown as a radiator icon. Then make sure your room thermostat is set to call for heat i.e. 21 C. If the boiler doesn't fire then there is probably a timer/programmer issue. If you have a timer on the boiler set it to 'constant' or whatever implies that. If the boiler still does not fire, yet works on HW there is a fault such as sticking diverter valve (a job for a CORGI man). If you go to www.vaillant.co.uk you can get to manuals etc after you key in the boiler name. This may help in further diagnosis.

I have a bathtub that wont drain. Its on the first floor slab foundation. I have plundered, snaked and poured sulfuric acid down the drain. I was raised in the Catholic faith, but now i am in my later teenage years and I am starting to lean away towards this faith. The ideals of the faith are great, but i believe that they are symbolic. Just removed old linoleum from bathroom floor and discovered the plywood underneath has rotted near bath tub?

I am renovating my bathroom and have just removed 18 year old linoleum from the floor. I'm putting in new porcelain tile and a concrete backer board. However, I just discovered that the ply-wood underneath the old linoleum has rotted near bathtub and toilet. Should I or can I replace the plywood or should I just fill in some of the rotted parts with a concrete patch up mixture. What is most likely to be underneath the ply-wood? I'm wary about lifting it up to check. I want to make sure the new tile has an even floor so variations in pressure doesn't crack the tile and that the bathroom is clean and safe. How can I curl my hair like this?

Don't use velcro curlers. Those will give you more of a wavy look and most likely will not hold. For the kind of curls you want I'd use probably a 1/2 inch barrel curling iron. Mist your hair with some heat protection spray (try TRESemme heat tamer protective spray) before using the curling iron to protect your hair. Then to make the curls stay in place, I love TRESemme curl activator spray. Spray that from root to tip then quickly blow dry for about a minute (the product is very sticky so adding heat right away is important to make sure your hair doesn't have a tacky feel to it). Then take 1/4inch - 1/2 inch sections and curl making sure to go all the way up to the root. When undoing the curling iron from each curl don't open the clamp right away. twirl your hair out of it and then open the clamp when your hair is not around the barrel (it defines your curls more). When you're done mist a little bit more of the curl activator spray and you're good to go :)

My friend requested that I make her into a mannequin, so I went about finding techniques to make her into one for her enjoyment. After doing some research, we both agreed to dip her in wax to change her to plastic and make her a mannequin. We got the wax two days ago and I dipped her per her request. Today, I was skateboarding and I did a trick (for you skaters out there, it was a switch backside bigspin) and I slipped off my board, falling straight down on my wrist. It hurt quite a big, but I didn't noticeably see a broken bone. Later I then looked at my arm, because it hurt, and saw that a small bone right in between my radius and ulna on my left arm is larger than my right, somewhat bulging out and is constantly in pain, especially when I touch, I was wondering if it might be broken/ fractured/sprained/ or any other type of injury. By the way, the mobility of my hand was not affected.

What would happen if tobacco and all smoking and all cigarettes and cigars became illegal in the United States a.k.a. no more designated smoking anywhere in the country? I think there would be a lot of businesses forced to take Marlboro and other tobacco products out of their stores or be shut down. The "War on Drugs" would take on a much deeper meaning than just illegal monetary gain; it would be about health. Personally I think cocaine and other substances being illegal is more about money than about protecting people's health or you wouldn't have this stupid double standard that says merchants can sell Marlboro cigarettes and cigars in grocery stores all over America to adults who are 18+ but unemployed people (drug dealers/thugs) can't sell cocaine or crack to addicts sleeping in an alley somewhere. Even colleges allow smoking! There is no point to D.A.R.E. for today's youth when colleges allow or even encourage that kind of behavior simply because they are adults considered able to make their own decisions. You will still suffer because of cause and effect regardless of how old you are. If you smoke you will kill your lungs. If you jump off a cliff gravity will pull you to the ground. I think the people promoting the war on drugs are missing the point of it all since there is no distinction between legal and illegal drugs except what the government says you can and can't ingest. I think it's more about money (greed) than about people's health.

We are in our first winter in a newly built house with infloor heat and we are happy happy happy with the cost of it. I can't compare it to our last house as it was older and smaller with oil heat (which is comparable to gas around here). I can say our house is more than twice the size of the older one, and we are paying less than half than what we were paying in oil. We are in Ontario Canada, so we get cold weather here. Hope this helps a bit..oh..it did take us a bit to regulate where the setting should be, but got it down now! (we also have fan forced air through a heat exchanger too as we have a multi level house).

Something that can help decide is to go out in a group. You him your friends his friends and usually when you're around people you will either still find him as a friend, because friends are already around you. Or you'll find that you really do like him. My guy has an 8 year old daughter and a crazy ex-wife. Bn dating for about 4 mos and are really committed to each other n our relationship. ANYONE that watched the contest saw that it was fixed. Regardless of our opinions of what the contestants looked like, it is obvious that it was fixed or the judges are not good at math!!! how do you give a contestant (Miss Dominican Republic) the highest scores on all categories, her answer is better if not the same as all the other ones and give the crown to one that consistently had mediocre scores!!! All 80 plus contestants are graded on different events before we actually watch the show, so obviously once they get to the top 15 is because they all have potential and they start getting graded live once the televised part of the event begins. Mathematically speaking, even if her answer was not the best (and it was 100% better than Venezuela’s answer which did not answer the question at all by the way) the average of her combined scores should have earned her the crown!!! Maybe they think the people watching are so dumb that they cannot add! You could tell the focus was not on the contest from the beginning. The "HOSTS" kept on emphasizing things like "what scandals will be created this year" as opposed to what things will go well in the contest. it is a shameful attempt to elevate ratings that have continuously declined in the past years, I will never watch this FIASCO again.

I can tell you how to solve this real easy. Size is apparently an issue, so reach becomes a factor. Groin attacks are out, as your opponent is a female, so what you want to do is go after solar plexus, the little area in the stomach just below the bottom of the ribcage. A hard strike there will hurt her like hell and open her up for several possibilities. For instance, you can try and tackle her to the ground and pummel on her from there until she gives up, strike her knees with shin kicks, or you can follow up with a kick right to the period factory if you're still close enough. That'll make her bend down, putting her head within better striking reach and from there, if you're quick, you can finish the situation with a quick combo to the head. I need help in getting rid of the virus or adware in my computer!?

My computer is infected of some sort, i dont know if its a virus or adware. Okay heres the problem, i have windows xp and when i start the computer, log in i only see my background image, no icons no nothing. Then i ctrl, alt and delt and click controlpanel and magically the desktop reappears (have to do this each time). Then once it appears o click safari and wont load until 5 minutes later. All of a sudden a get a warning message saying " application cannot be executed. The file safari.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?", i click yes and it opems up an internet page that says i have to pay 69.95 using credit card. Not only is it open this but its opening ads for and viagra back to back pop ups. I try clicking on other things but it says the same message file infected. I have mcafee but my subscription expire. How do i go about getting rid of this manually?

Bible Version?

I'm planning to read the entire Bible from start to finish. So far I'm nearly finished with Genesis and have been using the KJV. This is because many evangelicals and fundamentalists I've spoken with believe that it's the only true Bible and all other versions are corrupt. The problem is is that I'm not very familiar with old English. I've experienced some difficulties while reading, such as having to look up many words in the dictionary, and having to go to another Bible version to fully comprehend the meaning of certain verses. Sometimes I feel that I'm not fully absorbing the real meanings. What other versions are there with a good translation and a more modern and understandable language? I've heard some awful things about the NIV.

When thoughts come in meditation, what do i do?

I have been meditating for quite a while, and I have always wondered this; I basically focus on my breath. When a thought comes I gently and calmly return to my breathing. But sometimes a thought comes that is sort of an "enlightenment" thought. You know the kind of thing that suddenly comes to you in meditation that may be a resolution to your problem. One time I actually "heard" a thought - saying 'it will be alright" Clear as a bell. It was really weird, as I was going thru a tough time. Now my question is when THIS type of thought comes, do you push it away also, or do you go with it?
