Cute/y teen girl costume ideas?!?!?

Last year I was a christmas tree- a wore a sparkly green velvet dress that was easy to make. I also had a tissue paper star in my hair and I sewed little ornaments all over the dress. I strung little battery powered lights around the dress by sticking them through the string on the mini ornaments (the battery parts I kept in my back pockets of my jeans). I also sewed little ornaments that looked like presents around the hem of my dress.
