Question about Alabama Athletics.?

Okay, last night i was watching the basketball game between Alabama and Auburn on the SEC Network. And i noticed that on the fans shirts it had the Bama Logo the under it is said "finish "the process". I know Alabama football and softball kind of have "the process" instilled in their sports respectivelly. And what i wanted to know is what exactly is "the process" ? Who started it, does it have to do with Coach Nick Saban or does it have to do eith Scott Cochran (Alabama Athletics Strength and Conditioning coach.) ?
