I need a bit of help...THANKS!?

Okay, I am a zoology major. Firstly, the Okapi gives live birth because it is a mammal. Secondly, it is described as being strictly diurnal, this means that they are most active during the day. The Okapi does much of its resting during the night. I don't know why the person that answered before me says that they are most active during the night (nocturnal). There are many physical characteristics that it lacks for it to be strictly nocturnal. The website that you have linked above gives you all of this information. Good luck :)
